Yesterday Chanel Cruise 2021 runway show was supposed to take place on the Italian island Capri. However, after a spring in lockdown, Chanel’s Virginie Viard travelled to Capri in mind when creating the collection. For the first time ever in Chanel’s history, yesterday the Cruise Collection 2021 brought Capri to Paris for the fashion house’s first digital show.
The Collection, described as a destination wardrobe with easy summer looks that are both effortless and cool, also showed plenty of beautiful bags. Elevated, yet wearable – spotted on the runway was, among many desirable bags, a new chain detail on the Chanel 19, a cage like bucket bag and the flap bags in colourful tweeds and glittering sequins.
I’ve set my eye on the blue hobo shaped bag and can’t wait for it to hit the stores by end of year.
För första gången i Chanels historia presenterades en kollektion digitalt. Cruise Collection 2021, med inspiration från italienska Capri fångade de eftersökt väskorna mångas uppskattning. Paljetter, färgglada tweeds och nya modeller. Närmare jul kommer de att finnas i butikerna.
