La Galerie Dior is a museum housed in the private mansion of Monsieur Christian Dior in central Paris.

This permanent and unique exhibition Is located in the same house as the legendary Dior shop on 30, Avenue Montaigne, a stones throw from the grande boulevard Champs Elysée. However the entrance is around the corner.

After a two year renovation the 10 000-square-foot exhibition is fantastic. At the entrance you are met by 1500 miniature objects from the world of Dior. Thirteen themes reflects the great Fashion icon’s life including his passion for gardens.

The exhibition over several floors shows the visions of Christian Dior and his six successors; Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan, Gianfranco Ferré, Johan Galliano, Raf Simons and Maria Grazia Chiuri.

Dior’s writing desk is there to admire as well as the famous staircase the models would use when descending from the attic to model the creations to clients.
