ALEXANDER MCQUEEN

Lee Alexander McQueen  was a British fashion designer and couturier. McQueen worked as chief designer  at Givenchy from 1996 to 2001 and founded his own brand, Alexander McQueen label, in 1992.

McQueen was known for his unconventional runway shows. His early collections developed his reputation for controversy and shock tactics. He has been credited with bringing drama and extravagance to the catwalk. McQueen also designed the wardrobe for David Bowie’s tours in 1996-1997.
